Choosing and Starting Seeds

Tuesday, May 1, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
$10 members, $15 nonmembers

Location: University of Minnesota (St. Paul Campus); 

This class will cover everything you need to know to start seeds in late spring including: seed starting schedules, variety selection, options for containers and media, where and how to start seeds along with when and how to plant them outside. We will have hands on demonstrations of making soil blocks, planting seeds and potting up. We will discuss materials, tools and tricks for starting seeds. Bring seed starting questions and go home equipped with the know how to get started.
