Description

Class Instructor: Courtney Tchida

Starting your own seeds allows you to pick varieties you love, grow many plants for less money, and brighten up late winter days with the promise of summer gardens. Learn about seed selection, seed starting soil mixes, flats, pots, lighting, temperature, and fertilizers for optimum growth, and how to use soil blockers and other seed starting tools.

Seed Starting Basics is the first class in a 3 part vegetable gardening series and is designed as a series where each successive class builds on the previous course. However, classes can be taken independently.
