Description

Instuctor: Gail Hudson, award-winning writer & storyteller

Have you ever wanted to test the USDA Zone you’re gardening in a little? To successfully grow a more tender perennial? In a recent cover story for Northern Gardener magazine, award-winning writer/photographer and horticulturist Gail Hudson wrote about a St. Paul-Como Park garden that pushes our colder zones to the limits. Join Gail for a virtual tour and learn how this Minnesota gardener does it!

Last summer, Gail followed the Marcus Phelps-Munson garden through the season, capturing 100s of photos. Marcus is a recent Minnesota transplant and Master Gardener, who loves unusual perennials and annuals with unique flowers and dramatic foliage and collects bromeliads, too!

Gail will share photos you won’t see in the magazine, plus lots of horticultural information. And Marcus offers tips and resources. Join Gail and Marcus for the conversation, and come away with some great ideas for your garden!
