Discover your garden through a camera lens and learn tips and tricks on how to take amazing photos. In this online class, you’ll learn how to take the best pictures of your garden in various weather and light conditions and all seasons. You’ll learn how to blur backgrounds to highlight your subject, how to choose a suitable camera, and how to share photos to create a fulfilling experience.

Michelle is a 20+ year Master gardener in Washington County. She owns Riedel Photography, specializing in portraits and plants. She holds a BA in speech communications, and is a regular contributor to Northern Gardener magazine writing and photographing articles. She teaches many gardening subjects to local garden clubs, and “Photography In Your Garden” is her favorite subject. Michelle gardens a ½ acre lot, which is also a photo studio in the warm weather months. Her gardens are available for tours. In 2019 the Star Tribune selected Michelle’s gardens as one of six winners in their beautiful gardens contest.
