This is the third workshop in a four-part series, Regenerating Urban Land. These classes were designed to take individually or together as a series. This series is brought to you in partnership with Ecological Design and MSHS.

Healthy soil is alive with a diversity of organisms. A living soil delivers nutrients to plants, increases water holding capacity, provides habitat, and creates the conditions for growing nutrient-dense foods and nectar-rich plants. In this workshop, we will discuss the soil ecosystem, the latest science in growing nutrient-dense foods, the challenges of urban soils, and ways to regenerate them.
